I went in to Manhattan to meet with the bar owner to chat about making changes to the website.I took the bus to the train and a transfer from the express subway to the local,walked 7 blocks and got to the bar.Elapsed time:1 hour.
The bar was packed with businessy types.No wonder, because it’s located at 39th and Lexington(the second hell on earth) and the meeting was set for the hour between 6 and 7 pm.So basically I popped in during happy hour on a Thursday which from recalling my bar days was one of the best nights to go out…memories.
It seems like a nice place,too.Not my kind of place but still.
I always liked old man dive bars.High class places made me itch.
Turns out mr.bar owner couldn’t take time out to have our meeting because his floor manager was out sick and he was covering.
I wish he’d called me to let me know but in the end we re-scheduled for next Monday when things ought to be slower.

I’ve got about an hour and a half before I have to go meet this Marek guy at his bar to discuss his website.
You all know the great thing about working from home is the ability to remain in one’s pjs
if one wants.If one is feeling particularly guilty about one’s sloth they may shower and dress and even put some make up on even though no one will see one but roommates,dog and boyfriend.

Believe it or not, there aren’t that many ready images of Jude Law on the internet.
I found this pic of Eminem and thought he looks an awful lot like Jude Law.Then I wasted about half an hour looking for a picture of Mr.Law in a similar pose so that I could show you all what I meant.
I found a lot of entertaining celebrity-bashing blogs during the process but not a lot of images that fit.
Then I wasted about 10 minutes cutting and pasting a side by side image…geez,do people do this all day long?

There’s nothing like being rich,beautiful and famous to attract good old-fashioned bashing.
Some of these folks really deserve it for their death-grip hold on celebrity well past any deserved sense…I mean : Janice Dickinson?! She seems like a rather sad case.Ex-model turned TV personality/event attendance whore.
And then people like me write about her thereby compounding the twaddle factor!
You cannot escape the frenzy.
